FUNimation Acquires Trigun! Posted by Jess on Mar 02 2010 03:27 pm
FUNimation has scooped up the 26 episode action comedy space western “Trigun” from FlyingDog, Inc.
Based on the manga series created by Yasuhiro Nightow, the anime is directed by Satoshi Nishimura.
On a desert planet scorched by twin suns, bounty hunters scour the planet looking for Vash who has a $$60,000,000,000 bounty placed on his head!
Vash has been credited with the destruction of several towns, but miraculously, there is no record of him ever taking a life.
However, only two things ever happen to those who catch up to Vash - they either crawl away wounded (mostly from self-inflicted damage), or they stagger away in disbelief that such a dork could possibly be the man they are looking for!
FUNimation Entertainment will release the series on DVD and Blu-ray in Fall 2010.

Tax Time! KA Recommends Turbo Tax Posted by Jess on Mar 02 2010 03:19 pm
Although I myself won't get any refund this year that doesn't mean our readers won't. My mom has used this software for 5 years now and I usually help out on the PC and this is a great piece of software to file your taxes with.
For those lucky not to have state income tax like TN and other states then I recommend Just the Turbo Tax with federal and e-file. If you have simple returns you can always try the free version at www.turbotax.com. Also you can tryout each tax software before you order the full package there. I say it's definately worth it.
